Writing is a complex skill. It requires the integration of:  Speaking, Reading, and Listening, for this reason students who learn English as a foreign language find in the Writing a difficult skill to acquire.  According to the article Writing is difficult but not impossible; it requires a process with different actions and stages in order to transform our ideas into a piece of paper.  But what is the most important about writing?  In my opinion the voice of the writer, it is a unique style in which the writer sets his/her attitude, personality, and character.  So we can hear the writer’s voice through the reading.

THE VOICE OF WRITING

The article refers to the importance of writing in teaching a foreign language. It tells us that writing is a deep process that requires the use of the other language skills speaking, listening and reading. It is said to be that a good writer is a person who is able to speak, listen and read the language as a mean of communication. Also, the article mentions the value of being able to put our thoughts into paper and being able to transfer this piece of writing with others.  Finally, it analyses the writer´s voice in writing. It means that every people has their own style of writing and this style is what makes the difference with other people´s styles. According to this article, voice becomes a fundamental part in the process of writing because it gives its identity and writer´s style becomes unique.

As you are learning new teaching strategies and different ways to use technology in the classroom, some if not all of us (including me) say it's challenging.  

As a group, let's come up with some challenges we might encounter when returning to our classrooms. If you respond to someone's challenge, give them some possible solutions for overcoming the challenges.

When teachers understand the light in the eyes of their students as evidence that they are capable and worthy human beings, then schools can become places of hope and affirmation for students of all backgrounds and all situations.

Writing is fun activity and this morning we started to reinforce our ideas and creativity for writing.
